4/22 Test Server Balance Change Notes

These will be the changes going live on our test server on Thursday, April 22 at 08:00 (UTC). Please note that based on feedback and additional data on the test server, we will make additional adjustments to this.

New Ships
The following changes have been made to Tier X ships:
47 new Tier X ships have been added to the game: Heron Explorer, Probe Explorer, Magnate Explorer, Imicus Explorer, Manticore III, Hound III, Purifier III, Nemesis III, Cormorant III Interdictor, Thrasher III Interdictor, Coercer III Interdictor, Catalyst III Interdictor, Corax II Assault, Talwar II Assault, Dragoon II Assault, Algos II Assault, Caracal II, Stabber II, Omen II, Vexor II, Osprey II, Scythe II, Augoror II, Exequror II, Blackbird III Covert Ops, Bellicose III Covert Ops, Arbitrator III Covert Ops, Celestis III Covert Ops, Ferox II Command, Cyclone II Command, Prophecy II Command, Myrmidon II Command, Drake Guardian, Hurricane Guardian, Harbinger Guardian, Brutix Guardian, Naga III, Tornado III, Oracle III, Talos III, Tempest II, Typhoon II, Dominix II, Scorpion II, Armageddon II, Venture IV, and Covetor II.

9 Ships have been removed from the game: Coercer Covert Ops, Catalyst Covert Ops, Cormorant Covert Ops, Thrasher Covert Ops, Ferox II Guardian, Prophecy II Guardian, Myrmidon II Guardian, Cyclone II Guardian, and Maelstrom.

Large Freighters
Added four Freighters: Providence, Fenrir, Charon and Obelisk.

Command Ships
Added four Command Destroyers: Dragoon Command, Corax Command, Algos Command, and Talwar Command.
Added four Tier IX Command Battlecruisers: Prophecy Command, Ferox Command, Myrmidon Command, and Cyclone Command.

Modules
Command Burst modules that can be obtained from scout anomalies have been added to the game: Shield Command Burst, Armored Command Burst, and Skirmish Command Burst.

Skills
Three new skills that can enhance the effect of Command Bursts have been added: Shield Command, Armored Command, and Skirmish Command.
Added Freighter skills such as Operations, Engineering, Defense, and Manufacturing.
Added Capital Ship manufacturing skills.
Added Freighter manufacturing skills.

Manufacturing
Capital Ship Component manufacturing will now be available. Blueprints for Capital Ship components are now available in the market. Capital Ship components can be used to build Freighters and will also be used to build Capital Ships in future updates.

Ship Balance Changes
General
All ships' shield, armor, and structure have been increased by 5%.

Tier X Ships 
Shield, armor and structure have been increased by 7.1%.
Velocity and signature radius has been decreased by 1.64%.

Frigates
Purifier II, Manticore II, Nemesis II, and Hound II
High slots increased from 3 to 4.

Executioner II Interceptor, Atron II Interceptor, Slasher II Interceptor and Condor II Interceptor:
Advanced Electronic Warfare now increases Warp Scrambler/Warp Disruptor's Optimal Range by 6% per level instead of 5%
Advanced Frigate Command weapon damage bonus increased from 15% to 17.5%.

Destroyers
General:
Increased shield, armor, and structure by 4.55%.
Increased flight velocity by 15.55%.

Interdictor Destroyers:
High slots have been reduced from 4 to 2.
Low slots have increased from 3 to 4.
Shield, armor and structure increased by 5.88%.
Velocity increased by 7.14%.
Signature radius decreased by 4.25%.

Tier VI Sniper Destroyers:
Mid slots reduced from 3 to 2.
Low slots increased from 3 to 4.

Tier VII Assault Destroyers: 
Mid slots increased from 2 to 3.
Low slots reduced from 4 to 3.

Cruisers
Interdictor
Cruisers
High slots reduced by 2-3 (depending on specific ship).

Mid slots increased by 1.
Shield, armor and structure increased by 5.88%.
Velocity increased by 7.14%.
Signature radius reduced by 4.25%.

Tier X Interceptor Cruisers - Maller Interdictor, Moa Interdictor, Rupture Interdictor and Thorax Interdictor:
Advanced Propulsion Jamming’s effect radius bonus to Warp Disruption Field increased from 5% to 10%.

Battleships
Typhoon
Bonus to large missile/torpedo explosion velocity per level of Large Missile/Torpedo Operation increased from 5% to 7.5%.
 
Dominix
Bonus to drone damage for each level of Large Drone Operation has been reduced from 40% to 35%.

Maelstrom Striker,
Bonus to large cannon tracking speed for each level of Advanced Large Cannon has been increased from 7.5% to 8%. 

Raven Striker
Bonus to large missile/torpedo damage per level of Advanced Large Missile/Torpedo Operation has been reduced from 5% to 4%. 

Apocalypse Striker
Bonus to large beam laser damage per level of Advanced Large Beam Laser reduced from 10% to 8%.

Megathron Striker
Bonus to large railgun damage per level of Advanced Large Railgun reduced from 5% to 4%.

Hyperion
Bonus skill has been changed from Large Railgun Operation/Battleship Command to Advanced Large Railgun Operation/Advanced Battleship Command.
Each level of Advanced Large Railgun Operation increases large railgun damage by 10% and falloff range by 7.5%.
Each level of Advanced Battleship Command increases the repairer amount repaired by 7.5%.

Rokh 
Bonus skill has been changed from Large Railgun Operation/Battleship Command to Advanced Large Railgun Operation/Advanced Battleship Command.
Each level of Advanced Large Railgun Operation increases large railgun damage by 10% and optimal range by 12.5%
Each level of Advanced Battleship Command increases ship shield resistance by 4%.

Abaddon
Bonus skill has been changed from Large Beam Laser Operation/Battleship Command to Advanced Large Beam Laser Operation/Advanced Battleship Command.
Each level of Large Beam Laser Operation increases large beam laser damage by 10% and optimal range by 7.5%.
Each level of Advanced Battleship Command increases ship armor resistance by 4%.

Industrial Ships
Badger II, Sigil II, Wreathe II and Nereus II now have 50% more inventory capacity.

Modules
The efficiency of all Armor Repairers, Remote Armor Repairers, and Group Armor Repairers has increased by 10%.
Adaptive Armor Hardener effect +33%.
Reactive Armor Hardener effect +6.25%.
Powergrid and Capacitor consumption increased based on all modules' metalevel.
Reduced the explosion velocity of all large rapid missiles from 81 m/s to 70 m/s.
Damage dealt by Beam Lasers and Railguns increased by 10%.
Damaged dealt by Missiles, Cannons and Decomposers increased by 4%.
Reduced the shield resistance bonus of the shield field modules (changed based on metalevel).
Signature radius adjustment for activating shield field modules increased from 500% to 5000%.
Effective range and damage transfer rate has been adjusted based on metalevel. Modules with a lower metalevel will have lower range and transfer rates, while others will have a higher range and transfer rate.
Armor link modules will distribute the damage before applying armor resistance.
Large armor link modules will have larger damage transfer rates than before.

PvE Adjustments
Fixed an issue where the resistance modules of NPC pirates were not taking effect. Pirates with these modules now have slightly increased resistances. (Their resistance modules have about a 40% effect compared to players.)
Fixed an issue where mass penalty isn't working for NPC pirates with afterburners and microwarpdrives. Pirates with these modules now have a decrease in velocity.
Adjusted the formula used to calculate bounties of Angel Cartel Pirates to resemble other pirate factions.
Added NPC pirates equipped with Sansha Dead Afterburners.
Adjusted bounties of several NPC camps to match their difficulty.
Adjusted bounties of several Encounter Missions to match their difficulty.
