Patch Notes 0204

2026-02-04

To New Eden Capsuleers,
EVE Echoes will undergo maintenance on 2/4/2026 at 08:00 (UTC+0) and will take approximately 120 minutes to complete. During this time, players will be unable to log in to the game. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience during the maintenance.

Nanocore Integration System
As reverse engineering of nanostructures advances, the CONCORD Applied Science Division has announced a major breakthrough in nanotechnology—the “Core Integration” array, enabling Nanocores to gain capabilities similar to rig integration.
Main Core: The core that serves as the base carrier and is used to integrate other cores is called the Main Core. Once the Main Core activates a certain number of basic attribute entries, various integration arrays will be unlocked. For details, check the Main Core Integration Array interface.
Sub-core: An enhancement material installed in a Main Core slot to provide additional skills or attribute bonuses.
Note: Only Nanocores that have been uploaded to the Core Data Bank can be used as Sub-cores, and the ships compatible with the Sub-core and the Main Core must be of the same tonnage, though not necessarily the same model.
Integration costs specific materials but does not destroy the Sub-core. You may later spend additional materials to fully disassemble it.

The first batch available as Main Core:
Neonrain, Golden Age, Illusionary Ghost, blue-and-white porcelain, CyberX, Star Beat, Silver Waltz, Dragon Chant, Termina Echo, Shattered Star, Soaring Dragon, Star Melody, Astral Cat, Wings of Abundance, Snowshard, Auspice

The first batch available as Sub-core: Mode Array ×1, Defense Array ×1, Electronic Warfare Array ×1.
Mode Array
You must ensure that the sub-core has already activated one Nanocore mode. After integration, the Main Core will additionally gain the right to use that sub-core’s mode, but multiple Nanocore modes cannot be activated at the same time.
When you have two identical modes, after either mode finishes activation, you must wait 50% of that mode’s restart time before activating the other.
Defense Array
After integration, the main core will gain all activated defense-type sub-entry attributes from the sub-core’s Basic Attributes.
Electronic Warfare Array
After integration, the main core will gain all activated electronic-warfare-type sub-entry attributes from the sub-core’s Basic Attributes.

Note: Due to the risk of excessive core heat caused by integration, non-mode arrays will automatically downclock, and the integrated attribute values will experience a certain degree of falloff.

Synchronization Protocol
When the main and sub cores belong to the same series or are compatible with the same ship type, the corresponding Synchronization Protocol bonuses will be activated for each of them. The effect increases with the level (quantity) of sub-attributes in the sub-core’s Basic Attributes.
If both conditions are met at the same time, the double bonuses will stack.
The Synchronization Protocol effects differ between nanocore series. Please go to the Core Integration interface for details.

Nanocore Reprocess and Reverse Output Adjustment
The reprocessing efficiency for Nanocores and Carrier Experimental Data will no longer be tied to the Scrapmetal Processing skill. Capsuleers will receive Skill Points reset equal to the maximum level of Scrapmetal Processing as compensation.
Reprocessing Nanocores will no longer directly produce Nanocore development materials, but instead generate an equivalent amount of a material called Nanolattice.
Medium Experiment Data can be reprocessed into a new material item called Nanolattice.
The reverse engineering function of all Nanocores except Capital Ship cores will be disabled. The Medium Experiment Data used for Capital Ship core reverse engineering will resume dropping after the related gameplay is optimized.

New: “Nanolattice Exchange Store”
Capsuleers can spend Nanolattice in the Exchange Store to redeem Thermomagnetic Storm & Dark Halo Battleship Core Opt Boxes, Advanced Research Core Opt Boxes, Nanocore development materials, IPs, Skill Points, and other items.

Nanocore Store Adjustment Preview
All Decryption Keys, which are used to open Nanocore Collections, will be removed from the store and will not return once removed.
The Nanocore Collection Store will be closed and replaced with the Nanocore Collection Lucky Draw Box, which will be added to the Lattice Exchange Store. The Lucky Draw Box is purchased with Decryption Keys and inherits the Capsuleer’s accumulated guaranteed-drop count from the original Collection Store.
A new Research Core Lucky Draw Box will be added to the CONCORD Pass Shop. It includes Research Cores for Frigates, Cruisers, Battleships, and other tonnage categories.

CONCORD Pass Shop Update
The CONCORD Pass Shop once again features 4 types of Skill Chip Lucky Chests, Dark Halo Nanocore Opt Boxes, and Thermomagnetic Storm Nanocore Opt Boxes.
In the ISK Exchange Store, the weekly purchase max limit for Skill Points, General Nano Sources, and Cloud AI Learning Code Refactoring Permissions has been increased.
The Nanocore Store now offers Tesseract Star Cores.

Some General Nanocore Training Material Random Boxes have been replaced with Research Core - Lucky Draw Boxes.
The Doge Emoji Pack Opt Box has been replaced with the Research Core - Advanced Lucky Draw Box.

Optimizations
Optimized the ship information interface display of attributes related to ship jump drives and the Sun Chaser Navigation System.
16 retired Logistics Frigates and Logistics Cruisers can now be reprocessed into basic manufacturing materials.
Extended the mission validity period for the “Wasteseeker Renewal” mission series.
Added an auto-approval function to Mission Sharing. After enabling it, Capsuleers can have missions automatically shared with eligible assisting Capsuleers without manual confirmation.

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where modules that exceeded the slot limit after a Structure was downgraded could not be removed.
Fixed an issue where, after a Lance hit a Carrier, the interference effect on its fighters might not be correctly removed when the duration expired.
